Moths
David Reed presented a fascinating program in 2019 using lighting and scent attractants to bring a wide variety of moths to be examined by an enthusiastic audience at the Ecology Center. David has provided us with a detailed guide to the moths that joined CREA for the evening!

Forests of Lilliput
Maine Master Naturalist Jeff Pengel led a pre-COVID walk on the Cathance Preserve looking at liverworts, mosses, and lichens. David Reed, using sophisticated macro photography equipment and techniques, assembled this gallery of tiny life forms that are fascinating in their complexity.
