Join us for a reflective walk in nature designed to connect you more deeply with yourself, fellow nature lovers, and the natural world.  The intention is that you leave feeling a little more relaxed, grounded, and connected. Dragons and Damsels (Flies, that is…)

On this walk, we will learn about insects in the order Odonata: the marvelous, flying predators that are Dragonflies and Damselflies.  Bring your rugged walking shoes as we will visit two or three different ecologic niches, each of which will harbor different species. We’ll learn about their life cycles, mating habits, and predatory strategies. We’ll bring nets to catch some adults and hope to find some larvae in the Vernal Pond.
