Crafting Native Seed Bombs (Ages 3+)

March 6, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Free
Teach your child how to be a seed disperser and learn a little about native plants, pollinators, and habitats at the same time! Register to drop in at the Ecology Center during a two hour window (12-2pm) on Sunday, March 6, to make seed bombs. You’ll take them home to dry and eventually ’spread’ (aka throw, toss, pitch) their native plant goodness at the time and place of your choosing (in the appropriate habitat, of course).

Registration is required so we can plan supplies accordingly. This activity will be entirely outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, we’ll reschedule our event and will communicate this with all registered participants.

Make an afternoon out of your seed bomb crafting! Pick up a scavenger hunt while you are at the CREA Ecology Center to explore the trails or directions for some fun, nature-based activities to do at home!
