Lookin’ for the Green

May 3 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Join Lisa Durrell in a search for signs of spring on the Heath Trail. Although it will likely be too early for ephemerals to be flowering, we will see greenery unfurling as we savor the spring air and sounds.

The group will use the east side of the Heath Trail to reach the boardwalk at the quarry ponds and their beautiful reflecting pool qualities.   The terrain is flat and should be dry, depending on recent precipitation.

This is the third in the series of Monday morning walk led by Lisa.  Join her and watch spring come, in community with others!

Lisa Durrell is an active CREA volunteer having served on the Board and the Programs Committee.  Prior to moving to Maine she was a field teacher for Massachusetts Audubon and a career math-science teacher.  She loves sharing her passion for natural history with others.

Max: 9 participants. Masks required. Free, but registration required – no drop-ins please, to keep the group small.
