Living a Life Less Wasteful: Going Zero Waste
January 29 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Making a resolution to live a less wasteful life is a great way to head towards a more sustainable lifestyle in 2021…but where do you start?
Join Julie Olson, cofounder of Zero Waste ME, to learn how she has reduced her household’s trash by more than 85% and how you too can make less trash using a variety of practical skills and tools. Julie Olson is a librarian who shares her suburban home with her husband and son and beloved rescue pets. A dedicated supporter of Community Supported Agriculture and shopping locally, Julie loves finding nearby resources that support zero waste and spreading the word with others.
This lunch and learn program will have plenty of time for discussion about waste reduction strategies and how these have also been affected by the pandemic.
This program is perfect if you are new to the idea of Zero Waste or looking to recharge your sustainability efforts in 2021!
