CREA Family Drop-In: Leaf Color Scavenger Hunt!
November 7, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
FreeStop by the Ecology Center on Sunday – November 7th during our Open House hours to join CREA Board Member and Bowdoin student, Alex Gates for a Leaf Color Scavenger Hunt!
This activity is just another fun way to connect with nature while exploring the Cathance River Nature Preserve. Can your family find all the colors on the scavenger hunt? Can you do it while exploring a new trail on the Preserve? Can you do it in any weather? We know you can!
Alex will award small prizes for children that return their completed hunt sheet within the Open House hours on Sunday 11/7, 12:00pm – 2:00pm!
The CREA Ecology Center is packed with amazing animal mounts, mineral exhibits, nature books, and even a human powered electricity machine. If your child has come to CREA on a school field trip or while at camp with us, this is the perfect time to return with the whole family and have them give you a tour.
Can’t make it to the Preserve? No problem! Leaf Color Scavenger Hunts can be downloaded HERE (link coming soon!), you can do this activity anywhere! They will also be available at all of the Open House hours in the month of November, stop by another Sunday to enjoy this fun fall activity with your family at CREA.
November Open House Dates (12 – 2pm):
- Sunday, Nov. 7
- Sunday, Nov. 14
- Sunday, Nov. 21
