With December marking the start of winter in the Northern Hemisphere, this month’s full moon is called the Long Nights Moon because it occurs around the time of the winter solstice.  Join CREA Camp Director Jenny Mueller for a Family Full Moon Lantern Walk on the Long Nights Moon at Crystal Spring Farm trails.

Families are welcome to make this full moon walk even more special by carrying their own home-made lanterns to illuminate our way along the trails. Learn how to make your own lantern at home. Although glass jars can be beautiful as lanterns – they can break easily. We highly recommend using recycled plastic jars or bottles for your hiking lantern.

This collaborative CREA / Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust event is provided at no cost thanks to the generous support of our Members.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND. Details about time and parking for the event will be sent to registered participants, no walk-ins please.
