Cathance River Nature Preserve: Invasive Species Walk

June 1, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am

Free

Come learn about invasive plants with Margaret Gerber at the Cathance River Nature Preserve and beyond during a guided walk where we will identify and learn about invasive plants at the Preserve and discuss ways to manage and remove them.

Margaret Gerber is the Stewardship Manager for the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust (BTLT). When not on the job mapping, managing, and removing invasive plants on BTLT lands, Margaret battles the invasives in her own backyard and volunteers as a Plant Conservation Volunteer for the Native Plant Trust surveying rare native plants in Maine.
