Caterpillars, Biodiversity, and You!

June 8, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join educators from The Caterpillar Lab for a photograph, video, and caterpillar-packed talk that explores backyard pollinators, plants, and the many caterpillars at the center of it all. Explore an insect-based perspective of natural history study and appreciation that just might make you reconsider a herbivore’s place in our gardens.  Come celebrate caterpillars in all their incarnations; you’ll never look at an insect the same way again!

The Caterpillar Lab is a natural science education nonprofit organization based in Marlborough, NH. Since 2013, TCL educators have toured New England communities with live caterpillar educational outreach programs, working to inspire deeper appreciation and care for the natural world. With their range of backgrounds (from the arts, sciences, and education), The Caterpillar Lab staff offer an exploration of New England’s natural history like no other. For more information about The Caterpillar Lab, its staff, and the caterpillars, take a look at their website, stop by a traveling outreach program, or head to Marlborough, NH to visit The Caterpillar Lab during their free Open Hours!
