Bluebird House Building, Native Seed Bombs, Scavenger Hunts and More!

February 22 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

CREA will be hosting open house hours and assorted activities on Wednesday during February school vacation week. We’ll have bluebird houses to build (we provide the parts, you provide the labor! First come, first served) and native seed bombs to make. Birdhouse building is for ages 8 and up with adult supervision.

Children can also explore our animal pelts, hand puppets, and children’s library, go on a ‘rainbow hike’, check out our bird and animal mounts, borrow snowshoes (if there’s snow), go on scavenger hunts inside and outside the Ecology Center, or go for a hike down to the river to look for ‘pancake ice’.

We will have hot cocoa and maybe even a fire going in our outdoor firepit!

Please register to help us plan for numbers but plan to come anytime between 9 and 12.
