As a part of many of our summer activities, we have encouraged you to look closely at your surroundings. Today, we want to help you improve your observational skills even more by practicing what we like to call “using a naturalist’s eye”. It sounds quite fancy, but it is really just learning how to observe things closely and ask questions about them.
In today’s video, we work on our skills and provide some tips on how to look at the natural world with a new perspective. Watch us on our adventure here, or read our written description of the activity here!
Once you have practiced a little, explore someplace you may never have been before, or perhaps a place you visit often. You just might notice a few new things you had never seen before!
Good luck with your adventures!
